Hey! Welcome to our awesome website...brought to you by your very own band and guard members.
And if you don't know our awesome RKR and guard then feel free to roam around and learn some more about us. We've got everything
here...from band events and pictures to the guard diary. So have a ball and feel free to let us know if there is anything
that we can help you with.

It's official, the school year of 2004-2005 is finshed but the year of 2005-2006 is just begining. We are
so excited that we won't even wait for school to start because there are percussion and guard practices through out the summer.
They decided to get a jump start this year because they have practice May 31- June 4, 9:00-1:00, and June 27- July 1.
The last two weeks of school were so hectic. We had section leader, guard captain/newbie tryouts, and drum
major for the second to last week and let me tell you that was hectic. The band practiced conducting, guard taught the newbies
the basics, and percussion was outside all day long. When it came to the last day everyone was very nervous because they had
to perfrom their solos, conduct, or march so they could try to be the leader of thier section. The biggest goal was to be
drum major and guess who got it: Robert Castillo and Esteban Camacho. This should make for a great but interesting year. With
that over people had to study for thier finals. Some were calm because they didn't have difficult finals while others were
worried sick, but now it is OVER. Graduation is done, finals have been taken, and the last bell of the year rang on May 26.
Everyone can now rest, at least for a while because marching band is charging at us.

Band: Band had the best year. They raised the roof with their scores at all their competions, danced the
night away at the band banquet, and said goodbyes to all the seniors (which ultimately lead to crying). Now its over and everyone, except
percussion and guard, has the summer to themselves at least until band camp starts. I am sure everyone can't wait till
the 8:30-5:30 days out in the hot sun melting away doing marching over and over and OVER. Oh yes, it is the
highlight of the summer. NOT! Rest up band because it is going to be hard work to have a specatular year, and we
mean hard work.

Guard: Winter guard is over. We performed great but we didn't do as well as we hoped because of what
one judge thought. The whole audience loved our show and people were coming up to us and telling us how much they enjoyed
it. For most of the competitions we placed 4th or 5th just because of one judge, but the other judges loved us. So with that
said I think we achieved our ultimate goal of putting on a great show and making the audience happy.
After we were finished with local competitions we moved on to San Antonio. We had so much fun and put on
a good show there too.
OMG News: The band and the guard had a great year. The band rocked out at competions and scored first. The
guard had people cheering like there was no tomorrow. Both the band and the guard went to San Antonio and scored supirior
ratings. Lets just say it has been a great year. We are now merging into one show like we do every year as the ROYAL
KNIGHT REGIMENT Marching Band! We are so excited. Our show is either a spanish or a tango theme. We can't wait to find out
which one it will be!
New News: The guard captain, section leaders, and drum majors have
been announced.
