Percussion

Our percussion and drumline work so hard to do what they do. During marching season the guard (having to get there at 6:30 in the morning) would pull up and hear the pounding of the drums on the practice feild because the drumline had already been there for a half an hour practicing and warming up. Not only did they play drums, this was just not enough for the drumline to do, so in the second movement of the marching show the drumline picked up flags and ran on to the feild (there was no drums in this part and the drumline knew they could not just sit around so they takled this difficult task). Let me tell you the guard sure had a heck of a time teaching them and the drumline ended up doing a spectacular job. Not only this but some of the drumers actually had a nack for flag work!
